What is your heart hunting for?
BRIGHT BLESSINGS of the FULL HUNTER moon to you
OCTOBER 25, 2026
A time to replenish your stores
Tonight we bask in the light of the Full Hunter Moon. Fall is traditionally a time of year for people who were not reliant on grocery stores to stock up for winter. The harvest is done, the veggies are stored. The animals are nice and chonky because they have also been storing up for winter. And now that the crops have been harvested, there is stubble on the ground rather than tall plant stalks, making the animals moving through the fields more visible for hunting as they glean any leftovers. All these circumstances come together under the bright hunter’s moon to facilitate good hunting. The timing is right.
Since most of us can grab what we need at the grocery store, even out of season, what we’re hunting for and gathering is likely something other than food.
What stores do you want to replenish between now and the deep months of winter? This could be energetic, social, physical, emotional, spiritual. What needs to be refilled? And what would feel satisfying to your soul?
Imagine you can access everything you need
Take a pause and follow along to this guided meditation.
Take stock and share your bounty
Were you surprised by what you found on the island? Did you feel like, yeah, I knew I needed that? Or were you somewhere in between?
As we hunt in this season, who is someone you want to invite to join you on the journey?
What is something you want to share out of your bounty and stores with others?
On that note—do you find it easier for you to receive or to give? Is there one or the other of those that you want to practice with a little more in this season?
What do you think the communities you’re a part of are longing for in this season? And how can you contribute to the needs of your communities?
Come practice with me
Are you in the Baltimore area? Join me and others from the Wild Maven community on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 7pm at The Space Within. We’ll do this guided meditation together and spend some time in conversation, hearing about each other’s experiences and enjoying time sharing in community.
