Conjure something remarkable.

co·ven (n): a group of ordinary people learning to conjure their magic and make their lives more extraordinary, together.

The next Baltimore-based cohort begins March 2027. The next virtual cohort begins September 2027.

Annie Mesaros peeks playfully over a tall stack of colorful books, her curly hair and pink glasses illuminated by warm sunlight in a garden.
A bouquet of vibrant peach, coral, and golden roses glows in the afternoon sunlight, with a softly blurred person in the background.

Imagine having a small group of people committed to showing up for you for an entire year.

They know about the conversation you’ve been avoiding and ask how it went. You tell them about something you really want but have been afraid to say out loud. Someone sets a boundary and the rest of you help them through the discomfort that comes afterward.

And sometimes you send each other hilarious memes or gift a Coven mate a cool rock because it reminded you of them.

The Coven is a place to practice the scary (but good) feeling of really being known.

Why a Coven?

In 2018, a friend asked if I wanted to read Women Who Run with the Wolves with a group. Six of us started meeting every other week in each other’s homes.

Sometimes we read fables from the book and discussed them, and that was alright.

But it turned out the real magic was in being together consistently, intentionally, and openly.

We weren’t close friends when we started. Over time, I got better at receiving love and affection from them. I shared my new tarot practice with the group and learned more about it by teaching what I was learning. I became more confident. I was honest about where I felt stuck, and with their support and encouragement, I got myself unstuck.

This group became a secure base from which I could take risks, get creative, and launch into my next chapter.

With their support, I eventually left Seattle and moved to Baltimore. I started Wild Maven Wellness.

I created the Coven because I know how special and powerful it is to have a group that’s committed to showing up for one another.

That’s what I hope for you, too. I’ll hold space for you and your Coven mates to come together in all your super-weird, offbeat goodness, bringing the grief you hold and the dreams you haven’t shared yet.

“Joining the Coven has given me a rare kind of belonging: a safe, supportive circle of wonderfully different people who have inspired me to trust my path and show up more courageously as my full, quirky self.”

This space is made for you.

The Coven is for you if you’ve done the inner work and now you want a place to put it into practice, with other people who are just as committed to showing up, experimenting, and growing.

If you long for friendships where you can be your full, feral self without wondering whether you’re too much (surprise! You’re just the right amount). If you’re good at showing up for others and learning to let others show up for you. If you’re practicing asking for what you want, setting boundaries, and dealing with the deeply inconvenient fact that other people sometimes won’t like it.

You’re spiritually curious and want to explore supportive practices that will help you connect with your intuition, deepen your connection to ancestors and cultural heritage, strengthen boundaries, and build self-trust.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t even need to consider yourself particularly witchy. You just need to be willing to participate, build relationships with the other members, and let the magic unfold from there.

This isn’t a drop-in class. It’s a year of learning to show up for yourself and one another.

The journey lasts one year.

The Coven is a small group of six to eight people
who commit to growing together over the course
of a year.

10 group gatherings

We’ll meet as a group 10 times over the course of 12 months. Our sessions are four hours long so we have time to share, discuss, take breaks, and actually practice together without rushing. Eight gatherings will be in person in and around Baltimore, and two will be virtual to accommodate summer travel.

10 individual sessions with me

You’ll also have 10 one-hour sessions with me, where we can explore whatever is coming up for you individually: a boundary you’re struggling to set, resistance you’re noticing, a past spiritual or religious experience you want to process, or a new practice or two. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions and you can choose what works best for you.

Connection between gatherings

You’ll have a private Discord where you can share thoughts, practices, struggles, discoveries, and hilarious memes with your Coven mates. And that’s where I’ll share weekly prompts for reflection and practice. You’ll also have a buddy who rotates each season, making it easier to get to know different people one-on-one. Maybe you’ll schedule a coffee or go for a walk together. Probably you’ll gift them a cool shell you found.

A year of showing up for yourself and one another

Plan for about two hours a week outside our gatherings for your own spiritual learning and growth, plus connecting with your Coven buddy once or twice a month. Consistent participation matters. This isn’t a class you drop into when you have time; it’s a community you’re helping build, one gathering and one conversation at a time.

The financial investment

A year in the Coven costs $2,900–$3,700, with monthly payment options. I offer a tiered pricing system so people can choose the amount that fits their financial situation.

It’s a significant investment in yourself: your relationships, your dreams, and your spiritual wellbeing. You’ll leave with stronger skills, deeper connections, and more ways to support yourself as you continue to grow.
